Car heater matrix blocked and giving out no heat?

Then you need to read this before you buy a new one.

Fitting a replacement heater matrix is a very costly labour-intensive job, if you own a modern car the original heater matrix for your vehicle will be made from aluminium. The tubes that carry the water in these units will be very narrow which makes them prone to blocking up. This can happen very early in the life of a vehicle, which means over time you get less and less heat from your system and if you have climate control this will no longer function properly.

Most Original Equipment and cheap and poor quality imported replacements use this design, which blocks up very quickly and easily leaves you with no heat.
