The original heater for your vehicle was made from aluminium with very narrow water tubes as you can see in the listing picture above. Original Equipment and cheap, poor quality imported replacements all use this design which blocks up very quickly and easily leaving you with no heat. Our tried and tested copper and brass design has wider water tubes which allow any small particles to flow freely and not block the heater
Fitting a replacement heater matrix is a very costly labour-intensive job so it makes sense to fit one that won’t block up again. There will always be someone who says that they can ”do it cheaper” but at what cost? Buy cheap Buy twice!
This heater is designed to replace the Valeo unit with the pipes that are fixed via a flange and clamp. You have to be able to remove the pipes to re-use them. This heater is the less common version and does not replace the version with fixed pipes, but you can find it here in our shop. This is a very popular copper and brass aftermarket heater matrix made to the highest standards in the UK. This heater is considered to be more robust than the original version and comes with a full warranty. This heater is very new to the aftermarket and a full list of applications is still being compiled, to the best of our knowledge this heater was used on the later mk4 models.
