Uprated heater with 33% more core than our standard Mini heater. (Limited production run)
This is a Top Quality Heater matrix made in the UK to fit the Austin Rover Mini Heater matrix 1967 to 1984. Our challenge 30 years ago was to make a replacement heater that was very strong and that had the same heat performance as the original. The standard Mini heaters in our webshop have been meeting this challenge to this day. Mini owners have also begun to realise that the cheap imported heaters available are poor quality and not worthy of what is now a much loved and valuable classic.
The value of this classic now means that some enthusiast want something that is more than standard. To this end we have developed a heater with 33% more core. You still get the same top quality brass tanks, top quality brass pipes and the same external dimensions (which means it is still a direct replacement) but the core is thicker. This core has more water tubes and more of the highly efficient ‘louvred’ finning compared to our standard heater. This is about as much ‘core’ as you are ever going to get in a heater of this size!
