Heater matrix blocked and giving out no heat?
Then you need to read this before you buy a new one.
The original heater for your vehicle was made from aluminium with very narrow water tubes, as you can see in the listing picture above. Â Original equipment and cheap, poor quality imported replacements all use this design which blocks up very quickly, easily leaving you with no heat.
Our tried and tested copper and brass design has wider water tubes which allow any small particles to flow freely and not block the heater.
Fitting a replacement heater matrix is a very costly labour-intensive job so it makes sense to fit one that won’t block up again.
There will always be someone who says that they can ”do it cheaper” – but at what cost?
Buy cheap – Buy twice!
This version has fixed brass pipes and replaces the copper and brass version with the fixed brass pipes (not the aluminium version). This is for the earlier 1st generation models but there is a large overlap with the late 1st generation models. You may need to check the pipes coming through the bulkhead to see if they are brass, if they are aluminium, you will need the MRH0700. The dimensions given below are at the longest, widest and deepest points of the heater and not the centre core measurements.
